A proposed rebrand of Meals on Wheels, developed for MICA’s Visual Identity Systems course. A shorter name connects national and regional identities, website layouts and stationery.

Process

A name beyond transport

The proposal shortens Meals on Wheels to Meals On. Removing the transport reference shifts the name toward the service itself and leaves room for different ways of delivering it.

National and regional identities

A stacked wordmark anchors the system. Warm color gives the national identity its character; green variants pair the same lettering with illustrations that distinguish regional branches.

Two homepage layouts test the national and regional palettes. A Maryland letterhead carries the green identity into correspondence, with a flowing line illustration along its lower edge.
